The Government Equalities Office (GEO) workforce profile is as
follows:
As of 21 January 2011
107 people work in the GEO of whom 65% are women
and 35% men.
- There are 8 senior civil servants in our senior management
team.
- The Gender Pay Gap is currently estimated at minus 7.7%, that
is, the median pay of women in GEO is higher than the median pay of
men.
- 22% of GEO staff are from ethnic minority background .
- 4% of GEO staff have disclosed that they have a
disability.
Employee Engagement
The Government Equalities Office participated in the second
annual Civil Service-wide staff survey, the largest of its kind in
Britain, involving nearly 400,000 staff from across the Civil
Service.
