Biography

Helen is Chief Economist of the GEO. Prior to joining GEO she headed the secretariat supporting the PM initiated 'Risk and Regulation Advisory Council' during their 15 month experimental offensive against the mishandling of public risk in policy making. Helen has worked in BERR, Cabinet Office and MoJ covering the challenges of better regulation, performance, evaluation and business modelling. She has a PhD covering 'The Impact of Inward Investors on Indigenous Suppliers in the UK'. Helen has extensive private sector experience in the UK and overseas.
